What Is NAEYC Recognition?
NAEYC stands for the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It is the most respected Recognition body in early childhood education in the United States and has been setting the standard for quality preschool and childcare programs for decades.
Earning NAEYC Recognition is not easy. Schools must go through a rigorous multi step evaluation process that examines every aspect of the program including classroom quality, teacher qualifications, child to teacher ratios, curriculum, family engagement, safety practices and health standards.
Fewer than 10 percent of preschools and childcare centers across America meet the requirements to earn this Recognition. Our Monroe campus is proud to be one of them and it is currently the first of our three Connecticut campuses to earn this recognition.
